I am grateful to live and work on the traditional, unceded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) peoples, now known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, here in Victoria, BC. As someone of East-Asian and South-East Asian background whose lineage has also been impacted by colonization, I am committed to the ongoing process of decolonization—within myself, within my work, and within the systems I move through. This includes living on this land in an honourable way and standing in solidarity with the Indigenous people.
